Author: TStelogeannis  //  Category: Uncategorized

Dear Parents,

We are at the threshold of another exciting year. Preregistration is just around the corner and we are expecting another year of record breaking enrollment. As always, we hope to keep our current students year after year, until they graduate with us. Because there is a demand for enrollment slots, we give our current students priority in the enrollment process.

Our exclusive two-week preregistration period for current Academy students and siblings will run from Monday, February 7 to Friday, February 18.

During the first week (2/7-11), we will preregister our current students only.

During the second week (2/14-18), we will continue to preregister our current students, but we will also preregister their siblings.

Please note: It is possible for current students who are not preregistered during the first week to be bumped by an incoming sibling during the second week.

Preregistration for Meadowbrook Church members and attendees will start on February 22 and conclude on February 25. Afterwards, we will open to public registration.

This experience makes the holiday buying safe, educational, and fun. While children shop for gifts, they will learn to budget money and make purchase decisions. We have a lot of really nice gifts available for every member of the family (including pets). Please have your child’s money in an envelope for safety and convenience with who they are purchasing gifts for written on the outside. If you should have any questions, please feel free to call the office and we will be happy to assist you.

As we head into the holiday season, the Academy staff would like to first give thanks to our Lord and Savior for calling us into the ministry of Christian education, then send a warm thanks and appreciation to Pastor Tim and Alicia Gilligan for allowing us to be a part of the grand vision of Meadowbrook Church and Academy, and finally to all of our parents for entrusting us with their children each day. Our hearts are filled with joy as we impart wisdom, faith, and courage into each student.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

October 19, 2010

Dear Elementary Students and Parents,

The Academy is excited to announce that preparations and planning for our annual Fall Festival have begun and once again we will be including a Pinewood Derby Race. This race will provide parents and children the opportunity to interact together as they plan and build their car. The excitement of building a car and racing it will be one of those events that is fondly remembered. Victory or defeat will be forgotten, but the great time will be remembered.

We will conduct the race at the Fall Festival.

If you are interested in participating in our Pinewood Derby Race, car kits may be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, and/or other craft supply stores and the prices range from $4.99 (basics) to $12.99 (paint and weights included).

The Pinewood Derby rules are on the back of this sheet.

So the race is on! Pick up your car kit today and get to work building a cool, fast car for Fall Festival, Friday, November 12.
